How chic are these pieces? These photos and the video below are part of this fun Valentine’s Day collab I did with Ways of Change, an accessories brand whose main mission is to empower people affected by conflict and migration. I love when a brand allows me to feel good about supporting them and look good in the process!
Their beautiful jewelry and accessories are made from upcycled, organic, natural, cruelty-free, fairly traded and locally sourced materials. In addition to paying fair wages to their craftsmen, a portion of their profits will be used to support community projects.
As you can probably tell from the photos, this was an incredibly fun day! It’s not often I get my hair and make up done professionally and get to sit around eating macarons and drinking tea all while wearing gorgeous jewelry. But even more important is getting the word out about this amazing brand!
Ways of Change was founded by two sisters, inspired by refugees on the Thailand-Myanmar border. They are currently working with artisans in both Thailand and Myanmar, including the ‘long-neck village’, Huay Pu Keng.
Psst – It’s almost Valentine’s Day! Any one of these pieces are perfect for that special someone in your life, from girlfriend to best friend.
