Make your typical breakfast yogurt fancy with this easy bruleed yogurt recipe! This recipe also has a vegan option by using Silk yogurt alternative. Measurements are not necessary for this recipe, simply adjust ingredients based on your serving container.

Ingredients

  • Yogurt or Silk yogurt alternative
  • Granulated sugar
  • Special equipment: Brûlée Torch
  • Seasonal or fresh fruit for topping

Instructions

  1. Spoon yogurt into a flame-proof bowl or ramekin or your choosing.
  2. Cover with a generous layer of sugar.
  3. Use a brûlée torch or the broiler in your oven for 2-3 minutes until the sugar caramelizes into a golden crust.
  4. Enjoy with fruit or a drizzle of honey if you have a sweet tooth!
