Superfood Green Smoothie Bowls Recipe

Start the New Year right with a recipe for Green Superfood Smoothie Bowls. Made with kale and spinach, and topped with fresh fruit, healthy never tasted so good. Naturally vegan and gluten-free.



Smoothie Base Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup milk or almond milk
  • 1/2 cup ice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1/4 avocado
  • 2 handfuls spinach
  • 1 handful kale

Topping Suggestions:

  • 1 kiwi, sliced
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 1/2 cup fresh berries
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon chia seeds
  • Toasted coconut flakes


  1. Add the smoothie base ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Divide into two bowls and top with remaining ingredients.
