How to Marbleized White Chocolate Covered Oreos:

  4. Spoon the colored chocolate into the mold, filling halfway.
  5. Press the Oreos into the mold. Spoon more chocolate on top to cover.
  6. Wipe away excess chocolate on the edges.
  7. Let the Oreos harden in the fridge for at least 20 minutes before removing them from the mold.
  8. Decorate with edible gold paint or gold leaf if using.

  6. To speed up the hardening process, you can place the Oreos in the fridge for a few minutes.

How to Make Edible Gold Paint

  1. Mix edible gold luster with a few drops of vodka, adding 1-2 drops at a time until desired consistency is reached (see ‘notes’).

Notes

Because of the waxy surface of the chocolate, this recipe will only work if it is exceptionally thick and you use a “splatter paint” technique. If you try to paint it on, the paint will bead and not look right. To get the look you see in the photos, the consistency of the gold paint should be almost paste-like.
