Wine-Country-Weekend-Style-Ideas-1558

I just wanted to write a quick post to share the details of my wine country style from our recent trip. You can read all about what we did in my last post.

For me, quintessential wine country style includes a maxi dress. It’s the perfect thing for sitting and sipping a glass of wine while looking over the gorgeous seemingly-never ending rows of grape vines. It’s chic, but unfussy, and doesn’t require much thought. Perfect for a casual weekend of relaxing.

Easy Summer Style - Maxi Dress & SandalsP.S. – If you find yourself in wine country, our new favorite town is Healdsburg. It’s super close to Sonoma but is still a bit off the beaten path compared to Napa. It’s absolutely charming and also has great options for eating! If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that Pat and I follow our bellies more often than not. Our new favorite spot is Noble Folk Ice Cream and Pie Bar. I need to replicate their almond cardamom ice cream. And serving it with edible flowers? It’s an Instagrammer’s dream.

I agree that a maxi (with a scarf and cover-up just in case) is the way to go for wine country. You look fab! 🙂

I have to find maxi dresses long enough to cover my ankles, or I just look ridiculous. 🙁 Only because they come up even higher than they should… just to clarify! LOL

I love that maxi on you! I’ve only ever been to Southern California but Jordan has family that recently moved up north and we’ve been discussing when we can go visit them!

You said it — maxi dresses are a must for wine tasting and this one is adorable! It walks the line of casual-dressy perfectly and you look gorgeous! I should be craving a glass of wine now but for some reason all I want is some cardamom almond ice cream. Was it as delicious as it is beautiful??
