Best Restaurants in San Francisco - Presidio Social Club

A look at where we’re eating in SF this month. Our new favorite San Francisco restaurants with photos and reviews – Fiorella, Presidio Social Club and Jane the Bakery.Best San Francisco Restaurants - Reviews & Recommendations

I’m so exciting to share with you a new series here on A Side of Sweet! One of our favorite activities is exploring the amazing food scene here in San Francisco. Each month, I’m going to compile a few of my favorites and share them here on the blog. Want more recommendations? Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram.

Best San Francisco Restaurants – April Edition

1. Presidio Social Club

Happy 10 years to Presidio Social Club! ? They’re celebrating all year long and it’s not to late to get the Bunker Buster Buffalo Burger. ?? We also loved the poke, Japanese sweet potatoes and their signature barrel-aged cocktails! ? #psc10 #sfeats #?

The Presidio Social Club is located in San Francisco’s historic Presidio, a National Park right within the city. The building was initially a military barracks, but it has been converted into a gorgeous restaurant. Their menu is super diverse, with something to please everyone. You’ll find dinner staples like meatballs and deviled eggs, along with some surprises like Japanese sweet potatoes and poke.

Presidio Social Club is celebrating their 10-year anniversary this year by featuring a different ‘throwback’ dish on the menu every month. In April, it’s two of their amazing barrel aged cocktails. The cocktails – you guessed it – aged in barrels which allows the ingredients to mellow out and blend together to make them a better version of the original.

2. Fiorella

I’m telling everyone who asks for a brunch recommendation to check out @fiorellaitalian in the #outerrichmond SF. ??? It’s too cute for words, has great service and the food is amazing! You should try: ?Brûléed grapefruit ? ?Green, egg & ham pizza ? ?Funky monkey banana bread ? ?Cornmeal ricotta waffle ? #brunch #waffles #avocadotoast

Fiorella is my new favorite San Francisco brunch spot! Their colorful and delicious weekend brunch menu is a must check out. You’ll find everything from avocado toast to cornmeal waffles, but the real highlight is their wood fired pizzas that are cooked in an 800° Fahrenheit oven. In addition to the food, the interior is super charming with pretty tile, interesting wallpaper and a great outdoor patio.

Jane the Bakery is more like honorable mention for April. The photo above is actually from February (hence the heavy dose of heart-inspired baked goods), but the newly opened Jane the Bakery has one a special place in my own heart! You may already be familiar with Jane, as there are two other coffee shop locations in the city (Jane on Fillmore and Jane on Larkin) that are hugely popular and oh-so Instagrammable. The newest location puts all the focus on Jane’s amazing baked goods, but still has a small cafe menu (like avocado toast and lattes). It’s absolutely worth checking out if you’re in the mood for a sweet treat.

Jane the Bakery is on my list to try! There are so many good places in SF to try it’s hard to pick just a few. My favorite restaurant is no doubt Liholiho. The food is always topnotch and I love the whole experience from start to finish from the feeling you get when you walk in to the service. 🙂
