Easy Embossed Greeting Card

…and I’m back with another embossed DIY!

Easy Embossed Greeting Card - perfect for any occasion

If you’ve been here long, you’ll know two things about me. 1) I love making my own greeting cards/thank you notes and 2) I emboss everything I can get my hands on. This includes, but is not limited too – my wedding save-the-dates, wedding invitations, wedding placecards, wedding menus, wedding dessert table labels and wedding envelopes. We don’t have our wedding photos back for me to share yet, but I did share the DIY embossed envelopes a while back. These easy embossed greeting cards match the envelopes in that DIY and were what I used for our thank you notes.

Like most of the greeting cards I have created, these embossed greeting cards probably don’t need instructions, but below are the important points.

Easy Embossed Greeting Cards

Easy Embossed Greeting Card - materials needed

Cardstock
Heat gun, like this
Rubber stamp
Embossing ink, like this
Embossing powder, like these

Easy Embossed Greeting Card Instructions

1. Press rubber stamp onto embossing ink pad
2. Press rubber stamp onto your envelope
3. Sprinkle liberally with embossing powder
4. Tap off excess powder
5. Heat the stamped image until the powder changes to a shiny liquid and rises
6. Let cool

I also used a new “Just a little note” stamp to create a few extra cards to use for those spontaneous occasions that pop up!

In each thank you card, I included a few photobooth photos of the guest or guests:
