Last weekend, Pat and I had the chance to stop by another Eatwell Farm event in San Francisco, their annual Harvest Fest! The Harvest Fest is a chance to stock up on fresh produce before Thanksgiving holiday and to check out crafts and fresh goods made by Eatwell CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) members. It was great to see the people behind Eatwell, Nigel and Lorraine, again and to eat some of Eatwells amazing organic softserve ice cream! This time there was seasonal spiced pumpkin and sweet potato softserve on tap! It was amazing, obviously.
We had butternut squash soup with leaks on the brain, and luckily the Harvest Fest had both! We also grabbed a few of Eatwell’s amazing fizzy Drinkwell Softers.
The Harvest Fest was located in Second Act on Haight Street. Even when there isn’t an event, you can stop by and get your organic softserve ice cream fix!
P.S. – If you’re in the San Francisco bay area and interested in starting a CSA subscription, use the code ‘SWEET’ at checkout to get $17 off your first box!

Disclosure: I was paid for this post with fresh local and organic produce, which is basically the best thing ever.
I want to dry the fizzy drink!
I can order some with our next CSA box if you want! It’s so refreshing and only about 40 cal a bottle!
I really wanted to make it to this but my schedule has been so crazy — I’m SO glad you covered this so I can once again live vicariously through you! Sounds like so much fun! Lovely photos too darling =)

I’ll keep you posted on future parties, I promise! I absolutely adore Eatwell and all of their fun events!
Mmmm – those sugars sound delicious. How do I add that to my wishlist? Haha. What a fun market to go to!
I know! I really want to try my hand at making my own flavored sugars!
Did you see Tina’s post on her DIY Flavored Sugars yesterday?
Umm, no!? We should have a sugar making date in the near future!
I did! I’m absolutely going to try them! Also, you are so fancy, linking to a post like that! Who knew Disqus could do that?
