HowAboutWe + Vantigo San Francisco City Tour

With both of us working busy jobs, Pat and I really have to make it a priority to get out of the house when spending time together. Even if it’s just a walk to the beach to catch the sunset, it’s better than another night on the couch watching re-runs.

San Francisco has so much to offer we feel guilty when we don’t take full advantage of it. Sometimes though, the hurdle of organizing things keeps us from getting out of our routine. It’s hard to take that extra effort when we’re stressed and tired.

For our first date, we opted for a San Francisco city lights tour with Vantigo. Even though we’ve lived in San Francisco for over a year, we’ve never done an official tour. The owner of Vantigo, Erik, was our guide for the night. Erik drove us all over the city in Lillie, his 1971 Volkswagen Van.

Erik has an encyclopedic knowledge of the city. The ride was filled with fun facts about everything from the Transamerica building to Palace of Fine Arts.

I cannot say enough nice things about both HowAboutWe and Vantigo. It was so nice to just snuggle in the van and be taken care of for the night. The tour is great not just for visitors to San Francisco, but also for people like us who want to know their city a little better.
