Ideas for your next Ladies’ Night Bites & Sips plus the easiest Ladies’ Night idea ever that will offer hours of entertainment!

Ladies Night Appetizer and Snack Ideas with Recipe Suggestions

A few weekends ago, I attended one of the most fun ladies’ nights of all time. It wasn’t about fancy appetizers (although I do love those!), spending a ton of money or spending a ton of time prepping an activity. You’ll never guess what the secret was…

We played Catchphrase for hours! We didn’t actually have the game, but we bought the cellphone app (iPhone/Android) for a few bucks and just passed around someone’s phone all night. It was so entertaining to watch everyone gesticulate wildly and try to find the right words to help their teammates guess the phrase.

I served some of my favorite appetizers and snacks, and you can find links to the recipes below. For wine (because of course what is ladies’ night without wine!), I went with Les Dauphines. I love that their Côtes du Rhône collection has three selections – a blanc (white), rosé, and a rouge (red). This ensured that everyone at the party was happy. They are fun and easy to drink and go great with food. I thought they were a great value for the price (around $13) and tasted as good as a more expensive bottle. I love that the label art is reminiscent of 1920’s Paris. Très chic!

Tell me, what kind of things do you like to do at your ladies’ nights?

I’ve never had a proper ladies night. Probably wouldn’t unless it involved soda, pizza and a movie.

You should definitely make it a priority then, even if it is just junk food and a movie!

I love a good girls night in. This sounds like a much better idea than fighting over Monopoly lol and better food than the pizza I always order.

That confetti popcorn looks delicious!! We love to play the game Heads Up on our phones when we have a group together, it’s so simple but a great way for everyone to be involved.

I love catch phrase! Mostly because it records the people trying to describe the word!

My favorite ladies nights are the ones I can come in yoga pants!

Me too! It’s so silly but so entertaining! I thought yoga pants were required for ladies’ nights….right? 🙂

Yum! Wine and appetizer nights are the best. I often prefer them to a proper cooked meal because the cleanup is easy and you don’t break a sweat in the kitchen. Those wines are a great value!

Me too! I think at least 60% of my dinners at home are more snacks than actual meals!
