It’s that time again! It seems like just yesterday we were wrapping ourselves in colored lights for our holiday cards. This time, instead of going it alone, we roped our amazing friends, Jessica and Mitch, to help us out. They just so happen to be the brains behind Ritual Photowork, so I knew the result was going to be amazing.
We still wanted to Golden Gate Bridge to play prominently in our photo, but to switch things up, this year we crossed the bridge. These photos were taken from the first Golden Gate Bridge overlook point on Conzelman Road.
We ordered our holiday cards from Minted again, for the third year in a row (year 1//year 2). What can I say, they’ve done such a great job I can’t imagine having anyone else do them! As you probably have figured out by now, I’m a sucker for gold and sparkle, so we went with their foil-pressed cards. They’re amazing! And because of the high quality paper they are printed on, I have a feeling they are going to catch peoples’ attention when they open the envelope.
It was hard to pick just one photo for the card. I wanted a more serious photo for the front, but we loved this funny photo of us with Maddie so much we had it printed on the back! It was the perfect mix of serious and casual.
Because there are just too many things to tell our friends and loved ones about 2015, we created an online newsletter to go with our card, and also had the URL for that printed on the back. This is the third year in a row that we’ve done this mix of printed and electronic cards and we’ve gotten a great response. Want to see what 2015 was like for us?
