Copper spray painted pumpkin decorations are an easy and cheap DIY for your Thanksgiving table, but they still look so chic!Spray Painted Copper Pumpkins DIY to decorate your Thanksgiving Table

If you’re like me, table decorations are all about getting the biggest ‘wow’ factor without spending a ton of time or money. To decorate our Friendsgiving table, I found mini fake foam pumpkins that I bought on Amazon. I was really impressed with how realistic they looked once they were spray painted. The nice thing is I’ll be able to use them again next year. They look great as coffee table decorations, or on a entryway table or mantle.

The entire project cost just $15 and took about 15 minutes of hands on time.

You Will Need:

Mini fake pumpkins
Copper spray paint (or color of your choosing)
Respirator mask

Instructions:

1. Cover your work surface. Place pumpkins upside down and cover the base of the pumpkins with 1-3 light coats of spray paint, until the orange color is completely obscured. Let dry completely, at least an hour.

2. Flip pumpkins over and repeat to cover the remaining pumpkin. Let dry completely.

3. To finish, hold each pumpkin by the stem and use spray paint to cover any remaining areas. Let dry completely.

Note: Safety first! I suggest wearing a respirator mask and protective eye glasses for safety, and doing this project outside in a well-ventilated area.

These decorations look stunning. I also love the idea of decorating with pomegranate cut in half. Thank you for sharing these ideas.
