Copper is the new gold! These copper foil place cards are easy to make and perfect to decorate your Thanksgiving or Christmas table this year.
Copper is having a serious moment. It’s replaced gold as the favorite metallic for decor and styling. You can find everything from copper flatware to copper furniture.
For our Friendsgiving this year, I focused on a navy and copper color scheme for our table decor. I used copper foil to decorate the name cards for our guests in this easy DIY. It’s easy to find online and one packet should last you for many projects.
Copper Foil Place Cards DIY
You will need:
Nice Cardstock
Copper Foil Leaf
Metal Leaf Adhesive
Paintbrushes
Script Font (I used Sortdecai Brush Script)
Instructions:
- Print your guest’s names on card stock and cut. The dimensions I used were 2 ¾” x 1 ?”.
- Brush metal leaf adhesive on card stock in your desired pattern. Let dry until clear but still tacky, according to package directions, 30 to 60 minutes.
- Gently press copper foil leaf on adhesive and brush off excess with a paintbrush or your finger.
- I used Copper Pipe Place Card Holders that I found at Target to display them.
