Details and decorations from a girly Galentine’s Day Fête I hosted with some of my favorite San Francisco bloggers and Anthropologie!
February holds one of my very favorite holidays. A holiday that celebrates relationships. And the color pink. And dessert.
Wait, did you think I was talking about Valentine’s day?
Nope. I’m all about celebrating the amazing ladies in my life on Galentine’s Day. And seriously, what better excuse is there to host a brunch?
To celebrate, I invited some of my favorite San Francisco bloggers over for a Galentine’s Day brunch. You can see it all today on the Anthropologie blog!
Here are a few more details and tips for hosting your own Galentine’s day celebration…
To keep things easy, I created a yogurt bar with fresh local fruit from my favorite online farmer’s market, Good Eggs. Try making your own yogurt to add an easy homemade touch. The girls were all raving about it – it was definitely a highlight and I still don’t think they believe how easy it is!
Ampersand absolutely nailed my vision for the florals – muted and pink with lots of flowy, natural details. They made my heart go pitter patter!
Sugared rose petals take just minutes to make and are perfect for decorating Galentine’s Day desserts. Get the full DIY and more dessert inspiration here.
My friend Katie from Lovely Letters did all the invites and place cards for our brunch. Isn’t she amazing!? To give it that extra something special, I added gold leaf details to the invites and the envelopes. DIY coming soon! This would be such an amazing personal touch if you are looking for a unique wedding invitation suite.
I kept the drink situation easy by serving Da Luca prosecco with a bit of fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice in sun-kissed flutes. No recipe necessary, just mix together depending on your taste.
What’s a fête without amazing party guests!? You can find the blogs and Instagram accounts for all of the girls at the end of the post. We seriously giggled and gossiped for hours!
For an easy Valentines-themed photobooth, I bent craft wire into heart shapes and strung them with colored yarn. You can find the full DIY and downloadable emoji photobooth props on here.
I hope this inspired you to host your own Galentine’s day party! You can shop all of my Galentine’s day picks below. Don’t forget to check out the Anthropologie blog for more pictures and tips!
