Cappuccino Chocolate Chip Muffins topped with coffee cake streusel and a drizzle of glaze make the perfect breakfast recipe! They are incredibly flavorful and moist.
Whether you’re on the go or have the entire morning to savor a cup of coffee, muffins are the perfect breakfast food. One of my favorite recipes actually puts the coffee right in the muffin! As if cappuccino chocolate chip muffins weren’t enough, I’ve upped the ante and added a coffee cake streusel topping and just a touch of glaze. So good.
Is it already February? For a second I thought we were headed for spring weather when it hit the high 40’s last week. Wisconsin weather is a cruel mistress though and as I write this it is -6 degrees Fahrenheit! One thing about the weather is that it gives me an excuse to run the oven to heat up our place (as if I needed an excuse!). I made these coffee cake-chocolate chip-cappuccino muffins for breakfast on a day off from school. They have so many delicious elements in them – espresso, chocolate and coffee cake!
I finished my last job interview last week looking at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City. Pat joined me, as well as two of our friends, and we spent the weekend at the Sundance Music Festival in Park City! Sundance has been on my bucket list for several years and I was so excited to hit the slopes and see some films. The weekend was an absolute blast. Thanks so much for reading! Simple and sweet, no? 🙂
