This is part II of my San Francisco Fashion Week recap! You can find Part I here.This is the outfit I wore to participate in the Fashion Bloggers Connect panel as a part of San Francisco Fashion Week. It’s another gorgeous dress from local designer Jenny Cheng and I balanced the strong silhouette with delicate jewelry from San Francisco-line Batsu Maru.
Hosting the Fashion Bloggers Connect panel was one of my favorite events of fashion week. I was joined by four other bloggers and the panel was moderated by funny and sassy Robyn Hagan Cain, editor of Racked SF. I enjoyed talking about my experience as a blogger (almost 8 years!) and also learning about different perspectives from the other bloggers. It was a little wild to be labeled a “fashion” blogger as my experience in front of the camera really just started a few months ago.

Something that struck me as unique about San Francisco Fashion Week was how the tech side of fashion was super prevalent. At the Fashion Blogger Connect event it seemed like everyone had a new app that they were developing to change the fashion industry. It was really interesting learning about all of them!
The runway shows were also amazing. It was my first time attending a runway show (newb!) and it was so much fun to sit front row!
Partners in Crime :: Rafael // Amy
Designers: Lisa Oliveras (top) // Mike Seneriches// Apoteca // Maison Michel Ange // Apoteca // Betabrand (bottom)
There was something I liked about each different line, but by far my favorites were Maison Michel Ange and Apoteca. You heard it here first, they are going to be huge! I am also coveting the gorgeous coats from designer Anubha Srivastav.
Outfit Deets :: Rose Dress – Jenny Cheng c/o // Gold Bangles – Batsu Maru c/o // Whirl Ring + Crescent Ring – Batsu Maru c/o // Key Necklace – gift (similar) // Clutch – custom (similar) // Tights – American Apparel // Booties – similar //

You know, I’ve never been to a fashion show and have always wanted to. Congrats on the panel! I’m sure you were great.
Same here! It was pretty amazing, you should check it out next year!
Yay, looks like so much fun and I loved your outfit, Kelly! You totally rocked it the way a fashion blogger would 🙂
Thanks! Fake it until you make it, right? 🙂
Omg front row at a fashion event – I’d totally be giddy man.
I was! It was a ton of fun and made me want to go to NYFW for sure!
