Hello from Cairns, Australia! You know if you follow me on Snapchat that I’m here for a medical conference. Yesterday I presented my research on secondary cancers caused by chemotherapy to a large international audience. It was an honor to have the opportunity but also a little overwhelming. It went well though, and I got a lot of great comments and feedback.
I’m also planning to do a little exploring too! Today I’m actually headed out to the Great Barrier Reef for some scuba diving and snorkeling.
The funny thing about being here is that I’m writing to you from the future. It’s actually already Friday here and by the time this is posted I’ll be back from my reef trip! Trippy right?
It’s Pride weekend in San Francisco, which I’m so bummed to be missing. As I wrote about in this post, the Pride Parade is absolutely incredible. I hope it’s something you all get to experience.
