A healthy and vegan kiwi kale green smoothie recipe made with coconut water. It takes just minutes to make and makes a great snack.
This green smoothie is as pretty as a picture, especially when it’s served in a clear glass decorated with kiwi slices. It’s also guilt-free and packed with healthy greens and fruit.
A green smoothie a great way to sneak kale into your diet without actually having to deal with the taste of kale. You can swap the kale out for the greens of your choice, like spinach or even arugula. If you’re like us, you probably have a bag of greens in your fridge that are just about to wilt. This is the perfect way to use them up.
Adding coconut water makes the smoothie super refreshing. For a fun twist use a flavored version like chocolate or espresso. To add some protein to make it more filling, try adding a scoop of Greek yogurt. If you’re vegan, go for a soy-based yogurt substitute instead.
Adding a few toasted coconut flakes adds an unexpected crunch. As strange as it may sound, I love adding a little texture to my smoothies. Another idea is blending in some granola or oatmeal. It seriously tastes amazing and is another way to make your smoothie more filling. You have to try it!
