Last Friday the doctor I was scheduled to work had to cancel his clinic at the last minute. That meant I had the whole day off! Conveniently, it happened to be a beautiful warm and sunny day and Pat had the day off too. We spent the day galavanting around the Outer Sunset. Coffee at our fave Trouble Coffee Co. and fetch on the beach with Maddie.

Hello, hello! I’m in such a great mood today for a million reasons. The biggest one is that I have an adventure coming up! I’m headed to Oregon this weekend to meet up with one of my best girlfriends from Wisconsin, Holly. We’re going to have a quick weekend in Oregon wine country and I’m so excited! I’ve been to Portland a handful of times, but this time we’re getting out of the city and exploring what else Oregon has to offer…. Read More »
Perfect Crispy Breakfast Potatoes
Hey hey! I hope you had a lovely weekend! This past week has been a whirlwind, as it was Fashion Week here in San Francisco! After several weeks of severe FOMO because of New York and London’s Fashion Weeks, it was fun to be able to attend some runway shoes and see what the designers of San Francisco have been up to.

I think that aspect is one of the most unique parts of San Francisco Fashion Week, with Silicon Valley just a hop away. I can’t wait to share more photos and what I wore with you!… Read More »
Lightened Up Mini Twice Baked Potato Appetizers

I’ve been feeling the urge to have a dinner party lately, not in small part due to the fact that Pat and I have a new table…. Read More »
Lunafest :: Connecting Women Through Film
I had a chance to attend the LUNAFEST film festival in San Francisco last week with some girlfriends. LUNAFEST is a traveling film festival that features short films that feature women and are directed by women. The whole purpose is to connect women through film and some of the proceeds benefit a cause near and dear to my heart – Breast Cancer Fund. Breast Cancer Fund is revolutionizing our approach to breast cancer research by targeting prevention and environmental changes instead of curing it once it occurs…. Read More »
Maxi’d Out :: Sunset at Ocean Beach
One of my favorite things to do at the end of a long work day is to go to the beach with Maddie and Pat to catch the sunset. I probably didn’t have to tell you that though, because Ocean Beach frequently pops up here on the blog. Even when the nights are cool, the sand stays warm for a few hours after sunset and the lighting. Talk about putting your best self forward…. Read More »
